Hanson's King Island was established in 1926 by Kendall Hanson and his brother Marion. Originally solely a full-service American Plan Lodge, it now offers both the full-service plan and do-it-yourself housekeeping options, in first class facilities. Nine fully modern waterfront cottages, each with a unique view of the lake, ring the island, offering you a cozy base from which to explore this incredible lake. White pines, hundreds of years old, tower above the cottages. The atmosphere is peaceful and the views spectacular.
